Samsung at 29Rooms

Held in the heart of Chicago, Refinery29 hosted a playground of super immersive rooms and activations for two weekend in 2018. As guests checked into the Samsung space, they found themselves standing in a photographer's dark room. Sitting in acrylic trays, guests grabbed their phone out of the water and headed into a 30' room filled with floor-to-ceiling projections and mirrored skyscrapers they could walk in-between. Guests witnessed beautiful imagery (shot on an S9, of course) dance across the curved screens, transitioning from day to night as they stood among the mirrored skyscrapers of the Chicago skyline. Upon exiting, they took their phone to the Photo Studio, where they had their own diva moment with two industrial fans blowing their hair in front of a wall of gradient-colored retro fans, highlighting the new slo-mo feature in the S9 phones.
