HBO at SXSWestworld

To promote season 2 of HBO's hit series Westworld, we were tasked with creating a fully immersive fan experience at SXSW. Complete with 60 actors, an entire town built in 3 weeks, and a 444 page script, we created the most talked about activation to ever premier at SXSW. Giant Spoon received a lot of positive coverage for this activation, from articles in Vanity Fair, Forbes, AdAgeEsquire, and AdWeek, in addition to numerous awards.

I created renderings and graphics, including the look and feel of Mariposa, the Post Office, the Blacksmith, the Church, and many other ancillary builds. I worked closely with set designers and fabricators, ensuring that each activation point felt authentic and true to the series.
