YOUTUBE DROP SHOP AT VIDCON

Tapping dozens and dozens of YouTube creators for its first-ever retail store at Vidcon was no small feat, but Mas rose to the occasion and produced an incredibly immersive shopping experience. As the 2023 sponsor, YouTube brought in a star-studded lineup of participants including creators such as Cassey Ho from Blogilates, Allyiah Gainer from AllyiahsFace, Christen Dominique and Dream, to name a few. This event unveiled YouTube’s new shopping-related influencer monetization features. Throughout the activation, guests could activate the Slay-TMs for their own YouTube “bucks”, where they could shop for exclusive merch inside the store.

I was brought on as the senior designer, working closely with the strategy and production team where we developed a unique consumer experience while designing displays and retail fixtures that honored each YouTube creator in their own individual style. I managed the entire floorplan build and worked directly with the fabrication vendors throughout the design process and during install.
